Life Journal with Robert V Scripture_ But it was the Lords good plan to crush Him and
cause Him Grief. (Isa 53:10) Observation - This section of scripture
talks about the messiah, Jesus Christ, many years before He ever stepped foot onto this earth. The scripture talks about what
Christ had to go through in order to bear the sins of the world. Application
- This verse is very interesting to me. I know God has the very best in mind for me, but many times I equate God's plan
with mine. I think that God's plan includes things being perfect and totally protected. But to read how God had a "good"
plan that involved being crushed and cause grief to the savior of the world is a strange thought. But, I know it had to be
that way in order to carry my sins. I need to remember to keep things in perspective and trust in God's plan, even if
it entails some hard lessons learned, persecution, or even some testing. I know God's plan is still the best for me. and
I (and the world around me) will be better off for it. Prayer - Lord, help
me to trust in You in all situations, especially the tough ones when things don't seem to be going well. Help me to have
a healthy perspective on things and realize that Your plan really is good, even if I don't understand or it seems otherwise
